Peppermint:Peppermint essential oil has numerous benefits for horse, however, we prefer to use it for its ability to cool sore muscles and joints. It is most effective to use before or after training sessions, or to promote healing after injury.
Marjoram: Marjoram essential oil is often used to relief muscle aches and fatigue quickly. It is also beneficial to use on painful nerves.
Basil: Basil essential oil helps with muscle spasms, and sore or tense muscles. It is best to use on high-performance horses who are constantly using their muscles, or on young/undeveloped horses who are gaining a lot of muscle at a rapid pace.
Bergamont: Bergamont essential oil soothe sore muscles and joints, as well as warm up muscles before a session. It is great to use on horses who are in heavy work, to warm up muscles prior to work, or to relax muscles that are tense after work.
Clove: Clove essential oil is an anti-inflammatory, often used as a relief from arthritis. It supports overall joint function in horses.
